7th Annual Flathead Celtic Festival

Free and open to the public- a free will donation will be accepted for parking. Highland games, dance, music, food, and fun for the whole family. Bring your well-behaved dogs and family members, a lawn chair, and some spending cash for vendors, and we’ll see you there!

It will include a Scottish heavy games competition which consists of the caber toss, sheaf toss, hammer throw, Braemar stone throw, and more. This region has an ample number of amateur and professional athletes that travel the area for these events and novices from the local community are always welcome to try out their prowess at these old war games and compete with a great group of athletes.

Other events at the Flathead Celtic Festival will include bag piping competitions and a massed band at the opening ceremonies on Saturday, a music stage with both local and regional performers, dance exhibitions and competitions, workshops, clan tents for genealogical exploration, an education into the Celtic History of the Flathead Valley, and other entertainment, as well as retail, food, and commercial vendor booths.
