Curious about learning how to use the pottery wheel? This throwing workshop is designed for absolute beginners and first-timers willing to explore each step of the process.
Participants will learn the appropriate body and hand positioning that’s required for each step of making pottery on the wheel. Participants should not expect to necessarily “make” anything in this hour and a half workshop. We will learn and practice moving through each step of the process on the wheel.
This workshop is mixed-ages to allow for intergenerational siblings to learn together and for a family-style mode of experiential learning.
