Vintage Christmas Trees & Ugly Sweaters!

It is that time of year when the vintage Christmas trees and the Ugly sweaters need to be put on display. The Stumptown Art Studio in Whitefish, Montana, is hosting a Light Up The Night event on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 7:30pm until 9:30pm. The party will feature a variety of holiday bisque to paint from light up vintage Christmas trees and vintage cars to a cactus or even a holiday sleigh or snowman.

Light Up the Night Party – Vintage Christmas Trees & Ugly Sweaters! Details

Each item is priced individually and must be pre-ordered before the event date. Retro holiday tunes, festive snacks, and beverages served and don’t forget your “ugly” sweaters (not required but, ’tis the season!) Your trees will be glazed and fired and ready for pickup one week after the party date. Tickets are $5 and are available online – HERE.

As a community art center, Stumptown Art Studio takes pride in serving people of all ages and abilities, from professional artists to backyard artists, and to anyone seeking an artistic adventure. ART OUTREACH: Stumptown Art Studio provides art opportunities for kids and adults in our own classroom and off-site art instruction in area schools through field trips and off-site outreach classes. Our traveling art mobile, the Van Gogh…visits locations throughout the area; public and private schools, special needs organizations, youth enrichment programs, senior centers and more. For the past 20 years, S.A.S. has offered Art with the Masters classes, summer camps, guest-artist workshops, art treks, after-school art club and monthly gallery exhibits . The Studio also has a Clay Cellar with pottery wheels, slabroller, kiln, tools and glazes, all available for co-op members.

Holiday Extravaganza 2021

Have you finished your holiday shopping yet…have you even started? The Holiday Extravaganza is coming to the Majestic Valley Arena from Friday, November 12 through Sunday, November 14, 2021. There will be over 100 vendors selling a wide variety of items including jewelry, photography, pottery, skin care products, fine art, western ware and lots of great food. Get your Christmas shopping done early and more importantly locally.

Holiday Extravaganza 2021 Details

The Holiday Extravaganza will take place November 12-14, 2021, at the Majestic Valley Arena located at 3630 Hwy 93 N. in Kalispell. Vendors from across Montana and beyond are coming to showcase their hand crafted items and lots of great food. Learn more about the event – HERE.

The Elves Are Requested at Bigfork

The Elves Are Requested at Bigfork…. On Saturday, November 20, 2021, starting at 8am your presence is requested at the Bigfork Inn located at 604 Electric Avenue in Bigfork, Montana, for some decorating fun. Every year, the community in Bigfork comes together to decorate. Volunteers will twist bulbs, tie bows, check and make new light strings, and cut and gather Christmas trees. There will be hot chocolate, coffee and donuts to fuel the little elves. There will also be Santa hats for those who are new this year. Plus, after the decorating is completed, pins will be distributed along with Hot Chili courtesy of the Garden Bar and Bigfork Ladies Services Club It is a wonderful community event that requires lots of different types of skills and abilities. The results will truly be magical as they are every year.

Elves Requested Abilities

Come join the fun of preparation for decorating downtown Bigfork! There are tasks for different skill types and abilities.
– Check light strings
– Make new lights strings
– Organize/check supplies for bins
– Make bows
– Cut and gather Christmas Trees!

Breakfast will be provided for all volunteers.

Keller Williams Realty Trunk or Treat

What does Keller Williams Realty Northwest Montana and Halloween have in common? ….. Trunk or Treat of Course.

On Friday, October 29, 2021, from 5:30 until 8pm, Keller Williams Realty will host a trunk or treat at the Southfield Tower Parking Lot located at 1830 3rd Avenue East in Kalispell. Guests are invited to wear a fun Halloween Costume and get some candy from your favorite trunks. There will also be a food truck on site as well. The event is free, but guests are asked to bring a donation of socks, gloves or hats to help support the Warming Center. Learn more – HERE.

The mission of the Flathead Warming Center is to save lives and encourage dignity through low barrier access to a warm safe place to sleep for anyone in need throughout the coldest months of the year. We provide seasonal, low barrier access to night shelter services regardless of an individual or family’s personal barriers to housing security. Trunk or Treat – Kmart Evergreen

Attention Trunk or Treaters….there is blue light special in the Kmart Evergreen parking lot……

On Saturday, October 30, 2021, starting at 2pm and ending at 5pm, the Flathead County Sheriff’s Posse will be at the Kmart Evergreen parking lot for a little Halloween fun. First responders, local businesses and community partners will all be coming together to celebrate in a fun and safe way for the holiday. So, put on your costume or just your Halloween spirit and come out and enjoy this wonderful community event.

About the Sheriff’s Posse

Today’s Sheriff’s Posse works closely with Flathead County Sheriff’s Department and is made up of volunteers who care about and want to serve their community. The primary objectives of the Flathead County Sheriff’s Posse are the following:

To support the Sheriff in his service to the citizens of the county.
To preserve crime scene evidence.
To aid in natural disasters and evacuation efforts for protection of the public.
To provide security at the Northwest Montana Fair.
To provide crowd control at large community events.
To provide security at High School Sporting events.
To support other Law Enforcement Agencies throughout Flathead County such as Kalispell, Bigfork, Whitefish, and Columbia Falls.

Trick or Treat at The Springs

Get ready…..Trunk or Treat is coming to The Springs at the Whitefish Parking Lot on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 4pm until 6pm. The vehicles will arrive and set up their trunks for treating. There will be prizes for most creative trunk and best costume. Trunk or Treat Guests will enjoy music, photobook and tons of fun. Bring the kiddos and enjoy good old fashioned Halloween fun!

On Thursday, October 21, 2021, starting at 11am until 2pm, the Chick-fil-A Kalispell Fall Festival will take place at Chick-fil-A in Kalispell. The festival will have lots of wonderful activities and treats for kids to enjoy. There will be pumpkin decorating, face painting, and even the Chick-fil-A infamous tortilla soup and mouth-watering chocolate fudge brownie samples. Kalispell Holiday & Harvest Market

The Holiday & Harvest Market is your last opportunity before it gets cold outside to enjoy the Kalispell Farmer’s Market. On Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 9 am until 3pm, the Holiday & Harvest Market will take place at the Flathead County Fairgrounds. This is always one of the most popular markets during the year, so add it to your calendar and come on out and support locals.

History of Kalispell Holiday & Harvest Market

The market has grown larger every year since it began in 1974. Guests will find a variety of wonderful items to purchase from homemade jewelry and pottery to fresh meats and vegetables, and you can’t forget to pickup some wonderful desserts like cookies, bear claws and more. The Kalispell Farmers Market will begin again the first Saturday of May 2022.

Now & Then is coming to the Whitefish Theatre Company. Now And Then is a touching comedy about love, regrets, and second chances. About Now and Then

Sometimes what happens after last call just might change your life. One night in 1981, just as Jamie is closing the bar where he works, a desperate last-minute customer offers him and his girlfriend Abby two thousand dollars to sit and have a drink with him. Who wouldn’t take it? As the trio swaps stories and Jamie considers the decisions he faces about his musical career and his future with Abby, the young couple begins to realize that this older man is unusually invested in their choices… and the reason he gives them is completely unbelievable. But when a very displeased second stranger arrives, the unbelievable begins to look like it just might be true. Now and Then is a heartfelt romantic comedy about the costs of the choices we make, and the people who make them with us. Cast members include Hunter Carvey as Jamie, Brooklynn Pitts as Abby, CrisMarie Campbell as Woman, and Tony Hernandez as Man.

4th Annual Harvest Havoc

On your marks…Get Set…Come on out to the 4th Annual Harvest Havoc presented by Action Rentals. This event will take place at the Kokomos’ ATV Park -6235 Highway 93 North (Mile Marker 141.5) about 11 miles north of Whitefish, and 7 miles south of Olney. Participants will get to have some fun a MX-style twisty jumpy track. Action Rentals will bring ATV (four-wheelers), UTV, Tough Truck, and Motorcycle bouts for adults. For children 6 to 17 years old, Action Rentals will bring ATV (four-wheeler). New this year is that the group is inviting children’s motorcycle racers too. Learn more – HERE.

4th Annual Harvest Havoc Details

Race Registration
Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m and end at 12:00 p.m Sharp! Racing begins at 1:00 pm

Race Registration Fees:

Adults (18+): $50 per driver, per class

Jr’s (13 – 17 yrs): $10

Kids (12 and under) Free

There will be food vendors and a beer garden provided on site. Please refrain from bringing coolers. Please do not bring your fur babies to this event. We would hate to see them harmed or lost in the surrounding woods. Thanks for your understanding.

Pit Passes:

Must be with a driver to obtain. No exceptions. Drivers your Pit Crew may consist of 2 Crew Members. Pit Passes are $15 for each person. MUST BE 18 OR Older to be in pit except and only during the time of youth races, youth will have to clear the pit after each youth race. If you have special considerations or needs, please contact us directly to discuss.

There will be 3 ways to review and register:
