Have you finished your holiday shopping yet…have you even started?  The Holiday Extravaganza is coming to the Majestic Valley Arena from Friday, November 12 through Sunday, November 14, 2021. There will be over 100 vendors selling a wide variety of items including jewelry, photography, pottery, skin care products, fine art, western ware and lots of great food. Get your Christmas shopping done early and more importantly locally.

The Holiday Extravaganza will take place November 12-14, 2021, at the Majestic Valley Arena located at 3630 Hwy 93 N. in Kalispell. Vendors from across Montana and beyond are coming to showcase their hand crafted items and lots of great food. Learn more about the event – HERE

On Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 9 am until 3pm, the Holiday & Harvest Market will take place at the Flathead County Fairgrounds. This is always one of the most popular markets during the year, so add it to your calendar and come on out and support locals.

The market has grown larger every year since it began in 1974. Guests will find  a variety of wonderful items to purchase from homemade jewelry and pottery to fresh meats and vegetables, and you can’t forget to pickup some wonderful desserts like cookies, bear claws and more. The Kalispell Farmers Market will begin again the first Saturday of May 2022.

Whitefish Farmers' Market

If you enjoy shopping, live music, prepared foods and the freshest products from local farmers, then you really need to check out the Whitefish Farmers’ Market. The Whitefish Downtown Farmers’ Market takes place Tuesdays all summer long from 5:00pm until 7:30pm, and the market will end on September 28, 2021. There will be a bonus harvest market on October 12 though. This market is organized by the Heart of Whitefish, The downtown merchants’ association.

Hockaday ARTS IN THE PARK

Hockaday Museum Festival

There is nothing like a weekend filled with arts, crafts, music, food and fun. The Hockaday Arts in the Park festival is certainly a local favorite. This festival is one of the longest running arts festivals in Montana. The festival is held in the Kalispell Depot Park in the center of Downtown Kalispell Friday through Saturday, July 16 to 18, 2021. Guests will expect to enjoy juried art and craft booths, food and specialty booths, live music and entertainment, premium wine and beer garden and lots of fun children’s activities.

Hockaday ARTS IN THE PARK Details

Arts in the Park is a benefit event for the Hockaday Museum of Art. All admission proceeds support the Museum in its mission and programs.
For your safety, Arts in the Park will be following all CDC and health department requirements regarding COVID-19 health requirements including masking, social distancing and increased sanitization measures.

Admission is $5 for a 3-day unlimited pass (which also grants you admission to the Museum during or after the festival), and children under 12 are free. Buy your pass button in advance at the museum for $4! Learn more about the Hockaday Arts in the Park – HERE.

Hockaday Museum of Art

The cultural history of the Flathead Valley and Glacier National Park
The Hockaday Museum of Art itself is housed in a stunning classical-revival-style building, originally erected as the town library in 1901. In addition to rotating exhibits, it has a permanent “Crown of the Continent” exhibition that features 15 historic Glacier National Park murals, as well as work from some of the best-known Western artists, including Charles M.
